Terms & Conditions

A full day’s board is charged for the day of arrival and the day of departure to allow for essential cleaning and preparation of the room.  Payment of boarding fees will be made at the time of arrival, or in the case of long term boarders, accounts will be paid monthly.  In the event of owners returning before the end of the period for which the cat is booked, the full period will be charged. 

At Christmas, New Year and Easter & July the minimum fee will be equivalent to three days boarding. Cancellations with less than two weeks notice before the start of the cats stay (four weeks notice for Christmas, New Year and Easter & July) will be charged full fees unless we can re-let accommodation. For stays of indefinite duration, 21 days notice of departure is required.

Deposits are taken for Easter, July & Christmas bookings.  These deposits are non-refundable.

We recommend you book your cat in well in advance especially coming up to popular holiday times. We accept cheques and cash only.


All cats must be fully vaccinated at least 7 days prior to their stay and no cat will be admitted without an up to date vaccination certificate. We also recommend that your cat should be treated with a topical veterinary flea treatment such as FRONTLINE prior to boarding.


The Windmill Cat Hotel is closed to admissions or collections on the following days:

12th July

Christmas Day

Boxing Day

New Years Day
